$31.25-$40.87/hr Day Shift MonFri 7:00 AM4:00 PM Weekly pay every Friday OT eligible At $40.87/hr and 50 hrs/week earn weekly paychecks of approximately $2350.53 gross.

Bachelors degree preferred (Supply Chain Business Administration or related field). Hiring process: 1st round virtual 2nd round in-person. Temp-to-hire position. Expected full-time on-site for first 3060 days; hybrid possible based on performance.

Position Overview
NOVs Corporate Procurement Team in Houston is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in MRO sourcing RFP/RFQ execution and contract negotiation. This role works closely with internal stakeholders manufacturers and distributors to drive value and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for assigned procurement categories
• Prepare and execute RFQs and RFPs; negotiate pricing discount structures and commercial terms
• Conduct supplier analysis and market research to identify cost-savings opportunities
• Analyze spending patterns and develop data-driven sourcing plans
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and align on business needs

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain preferably in oil and gas
• Experience with strategic sourcing for MRO categories
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Proficiency with Oracle (Cloud or EBS) JD Edwards or Glovia preferred
• Excellent analytical communication and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
