Project Overview
Procurement Buyer to support commercial procurement for business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Track supply chain requirements conduct sourcing and competitive bidding processes and negotiate agreements.
- Collaborate with the operations teams to analyze procurement options and to assist in making equipment supply recommendations that best position their pipeline of renewable energy projects.
- Utilize systems and tools required by Procurement activities including but not limited to systems related to purchasing and contract management third-party vendor management and reporting.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint Word and Visio.
- Working knowledge of materials and inventory management logistics quality assurance quality control maintenance and operations.
- Experience with SAP Procurement and Ariba.
- Ability to use independent judgment on procurement processes and strategy.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelors degree in business supply chain finance.
