Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Procurement Analyst (Level 4) to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood Missouri.

As a Senior Procurement Analyst (Level 4) the candidate will serve as a premier subject matter expert and strategic leader within our Global Supply Chain team. Moving beyond project execution the candidate will independently lead the architecture integration and oversight of enterprise-wide procurement strategies. The candidate will evaluate macroeconomic supply-chain risks architect predictive performance models and drive long-term supply base initiatives under minimal direction to secure our global manufacturing and defense production capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines designs plans and deploys internal/external projects
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
  • Extracts analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan
  • Develops documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows
  • Distributes updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders
  • Develops risk mitigation plan

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Deployment: The candidate will champion architect and oversee enterprise-level procurement initiatives and complex regulatory compliance programs.
  • Predictive Analytics: The candidate will govern data integrity frameworks model supply chain capabilities and establish advanced predictive metrics to optimize global supplier networks.
  • System Optimization: The candidate will spearhead digital transformation efforts leveraging automation and advanced analytics to optimize cross-program data infrastructure.
  • Risk & Lifecycle Management: The candidate will mitigate complex multi-tier supplier vulnerabilities resolve high-impact systemic delinquencies and establish complex inventory buffer strategies.
  • Executive Coordination: The candidate will advise and influence senior executives while driving strategic consensus among engineering quality finance legal and major global suppliers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Finance or a related quantitative discipline.
  • More than 5 years of direct experience in supplier contract management materials management or advanced procurement analytics.
  • More than 5 years of expert proficiency in data manipulation tools (including complex SQL queries advanced Excel Tableau or Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience)

  • More than 5 years in configuring enterprise resource planning (ERP) architectures specifically SAP or advanced materials requirement planning (MRP) systems.
  • More than 5 years of extensive professional background managing high-value procurement within aerospace aviation or defense manufacturing environments.
  • More than 5 years of experience in presenting executive-level business cases and high-stakes risk-mitigation roadmaps to senior leadership.
  • The candidate currently has an active U.S. Security Clearance (for defense program placements).

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
