Process Technician

We are seeking a skilledProcess Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including setup startup shutdown troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. You will direct and monitor the production schedule perform mold and material changes and ensure part conformity and quality through inspections and process adjustments. This role will be for 2nd shift 1pm - 9: role has an hourly range of $31/hr - $36/ addition to salary youre eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Klein Tools Inc. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills experience and Responsibilities:Performallaspectsoftheinjectionmoldingprocesstoincludeset-upstartupandshutdown troubleshootingequipmentmaintenanceandworkflow. Direct and monitor the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule. Create cycle time reductions where process troubleshooting tooling setting material setting part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and with Engineering on current and new molds for alternative material sampling and new product documents including start up and in process product inspection sheets process monitoring log changeover check and set up support equipment (i.e. circulators grinders thermolator hot runner controller material dryer and material loader etc.) as needed in the production area prior to start other duties as required within the nature and level of :Highschooldiplomaorequivalentandfive(5) setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment including robots is diagnosing process issues making minor repairs controlling quality and maintaining high levels of uptime on be able to read write speak and understand basic in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word).Ability to read measuring devices i.e. micrometer vernier calipers Acu-Gauge to read and interpret blue Molder certification preferredDISCLAIMER: This position may include exposure to radio frequencies that may be dangerous to individuals with a pacemaker consult with your doctor.
