Process Specialist

SUMMARY:Develop and implement process and safety procedures in a production environment. Provide leadership and technical support for the efficient operation of the : Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00PMESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Support process development implementation and continuous improvement and analyze production processes to identify areas for and train equipment setup changeovers and root cause analysis on process and quality issues and recommend corrective process parameters work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with engineering maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing technical support during process pilots run to rates and new product accurate records of process data downtime and maintenance in safety quality and lean manufacturing knowledge of production processes and related product or process improvement production data such as scrap levels machine down time and basic training for team assist training staff in developing training in production improvement variance and yields and take necessary action to correct or resolve Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as understanding continuously improving and promoting the divisions quality management system in accordance with ISO & EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or military training in related technical field. Minimum of 2 years technical degree or 3 years experience as engineering technician. Ability to operate department machines and knowledge of production processes are SKILLS & ABILITIES:Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training to individuals or small groups of team members. Good writing skills needed to write processes and training guidelines. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to direct the work efforts of other team members. Aptitude to learn electrical and/or mechanical skills. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word and Excel. Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently. Basic math skills. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff. Ability to operate forklift pallet mover or hoist equipment. Forklift certification may be REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:Physical Requirements: Required to sit stand walk bend and reach.
