Process Improvement Manager, Planning, Analytics & Workforce Strategies

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic experienced Process Improvement Manager with a strong delivery record and proven success to own key aspects of Grocery workforce planning/management including managing and optimizing shift posting systems and processes. A highly analytical candidate with project management experience is an ideal fit as this role will require cross-functional partnership with multiple operational and technical teams (Workforce Planning Field Ops Business Intelligence Engineers Business Analytics Data Engineering Workforce Staffing Change Enablement Tech Finance HR Legal and other teams as applicable) to lead influence and support business critical projects and initiatives.
Due to the nature of the business you will also be expected to interact internally with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for optimal balance between associate experience and business/customer needs. Documentation of requirements project management and cross-team coordination skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and participate in cross-functional work to scope and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders
- Gather and analyze data to identify ways to improve centralize standardize and automate processes
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment seeking to understand business problems automation limitations scaling factors boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
- Develop implement report and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
- Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros pivots lookups) at an advanced level
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously and driving goals to completion
- Experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems or experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including colleagues and leadership
- Masters degree in business engineering operations supply chain transportation logistics
- 3 years of retail or operations or 2 years of management experience
- Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel Access SQL or other data management systems
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
