Metallus Internship Program

Internship Assignment: Full Time Summer 2027

• Start date: 05/17/2027

• Assist with AI and advanced analytics projects including data preparation analysis and visualization.

• Support continuous improvement and process optimization projects within manufacturing operations.

• Use manufacturing reliability and operational data to identify improvement opportunities related to OEE delays throughput quality and cost.

• Present findings insights and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.

Internship Qualifications:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027semester

• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

• Preferred majors: Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Data Analytics Computer Science Statistics or related

• Exposure to Lean manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement concepts

• Coursework or experience related to AI machine learning or data science
