Do you want to help us build the DNA of Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Process Engineer responsible for all manufacturing automation software and associated hardware systems.

Job Location:

Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain operational technology systems manufacturing software applications and automated test systems to ensure reliable operation of production and engineering processes
  • Perform development integration testing and deployment of software solutions for data acquisition manufacturing process monitoring equipment interfacing and production support applications
  • Perform calibration coordination data review record maintenance and documentation activities to support compliance product quality and measurement system integrity
  • Create revise and maintain engineering procedures work instructions test methods specifications and other controlled documentation
  • Support test equipment troubleshooting system validation hardware integration and routine maintenance of servers PCs networked devices and laboratory equipment
  • Assist with implementation of process improvements using data analysis statistical methods and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Support project execution through documentation progress tracking testing activities and coordination with production quality and engineering personnel.

What you will bring along:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with current generation programming languages used for manufacturing test and process optimization
  • High level of mechanical electrical and electronic aptitude
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality required


Pay Range: $75000-$85000 annually
