Job Summary
The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design manufacturing and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P CCI Federal Premium Fiocchi HEVI Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota Idaho Arkansas and Missouri and service law enforcement government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG) which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense security automotive aerospace and rail industries.
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Process Engineer will plan manage and coordinate projects and processes using the latest technologies to develop new processes improve production efficiencies and resolve manufacturing challenges.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is based out of our Lonoke Arkansas office.
As the Process Engineer you will:
Initiate process changes and improvements maintain process records and drawings.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Analyzes operational data such as production costs process flow charts and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of employees tooling supplies and equipment.
Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste.
Work effectively and collaboratively with a cross discipline team.
Initiate and lead engineering projects including cost improvements and capital projects.
Write technical reports and present them to management and other interested parties.
Effectively communicate with manufacturing personnel and management.
Regularly interact with and provide technical guidance to manufacturing and shop personnel.
Assists in training production personnel in work instruction and procedures.
Understand product specifications and interpret test data.
Understand how manufacturing processes affect the performance characteristics of the product.
Experience you bring:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering/Science discipline
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent organizational communication project management and teamwork skills.
Exceptional problem solving ability.
Familiarity with manufacturing operations and lean principles.
Hands on experience with machining and manufacturing equipment.
SolidWorks or CAD.
Infrequent travel required.
Preferred:
Knowledge and experience with ammunition handloading hunting shooting and firearms.
Metallurgical knowledge of copper alloys and tool steels/carbides.
Experience in metal forming and/or high volume manufacturing.
Experience in tool and fixture design.
Experience with cold heading
Work Environment:
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
Pay Range:
$69600.00 - $97300.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience geographic location education and skills/achievements and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
