Process Engineer 3rd Shift

The Process Engineeris responsibleforinitiating managing leading and executing processimprovementswithin the manufacturing space. You willprovidetechnical supportand trainingfor operations andact asasubject matter for manufacturingoperations.

Mayberequiredtolead orsupport investigations and correction ofprocess-relatedproblems and deviations willinteractand collaboratewith other disciplinesas well as external be asked to develop business processes around the manufacturing and engineering business berequiredto perform equipmentmaintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Become an expert on the process and equipment to successfully lead and implement processandcontinuousimprovements

• Provide technical support to operations teams to resolve standard engineering problems within process area.

• Identifyand executecontinuous improvementprojects to increase safety reduce product cost improve product quality improve yield and reduce material usage

• Independently execute processes (e.g. validation qualification operation) within process engineering area.

• Assistin identification ofmanfucturing/engineering and technology requirements; support actions to address day-to-day needs/ issues within site; escalate complex issues to relevant stakeholders

• Authors updates reviews and approves area procedures and master batch records to ensure correct content and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices

• Designs studies executes experiments andperformsdata analysis

• Writes study proposals progress reports development reports and various technical memos

• Evaluatesnew technologiesto improve the commercial production process

• Supportsscale-upactivities

• Acts as an effective change agent

• Investigate deviations from standards ofthemanufacturing process using effective root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions

• Generate evaluate and implement innovative and creative solutions

• Contribute to minor site process engineering projects asrequired.

• Capable of generating a project scope and cost plan to effectively draft a capital request

• Assess andcoordinateappropriate actionswhen operations/ maintenance activities need to be re-scheduled

• Provide training for equipment maintenance and process

• Equipment/System/Project/Process Life Cycle Management and Execution including project management (initiation planning & schedulingexecutionand closure)

• Proficiencyin at least one of the following disciplines: equipment process/materialsequipmentmaintenance project delivery

• Coordinate and oversee external (contractor/ supplier) work in line with manufacturing and maintenance plans.

• Develop and implement engineering/ maintenance plans within area.

Minimum Qualifications to be considered:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineeringand substantial relevant experienceOR High School/pre-university education with 3 years of relevant knowledge

• Basic knowledge of procedures and compliance with GMP & SHE requirements

• Ability to read P&IDs Process Flow Diagrams and perform mass and energy balances.

• Excellent verbalwritten and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

• Displays a high desire to learn while recognizingonesown limitations.

• Able todemonstratetechnical capabilities using logical thought processes to analyze information and draw conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withspray dryertechnolgy

• Experiencewith root cause investigations

• Lean certificationor experience with lean concepts

• Experience working with digital tools and applications related to reporting documentation and analysis

• Relevant experience in executing process engineering processes ( qualification validation) within a highly regulated environment fora single product

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $79336.80 - $119005.20. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentivesan opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
