Job Description:
This job is responsible for analyzing processes documenting business case opportunities and implementing process improvement/transformation initiatives in support of Operational Excellence objectives. Key responsibilities include executing on change initiatives which may result in breakthrough cost efficiencies quality productivity and risk mitigation. Job expectations include working with business leaders and subject matter experts ensuring collaboration and transparency across integrated business and technology teams and driving execution of solutions within the budget and timeline.

Responsible for leading medium - large projects for an operations department product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews workflow analysis management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area and Agile SDLC principles.

Responsibilities:
Create clear coherent and rigorous approach to lead working team from problem identification to solution design by applying value-based and human centered methods such as Design Thinking Business Process Design and Six Sigma
Provide solutions to complex business and business operation problems where the situation analysis requires an in-depth understanding of key operational levers
Partners with senior leaders Product Managers and Business Architects to architect and influence operational design
Communicates and negotiates vertically and horizontally to align design objectives
Drives/contributes to workshop and co-creation sessions with Product Management and extended teams
Utilize process engineering design thinking agile approaches to enable Product Managers/Owners to produce recommended solutions & target state depictions
Structure innovative and creative approaches to brainstorm ideas and design solutions
Excellent project management skills including ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Applies strong business judgment and ability to deal with unstructured problems and drive optimal business outcomes

    Required Skills:

    7 plus years in one or more of the following areas: Industrial Engineering business process design operations modeling business / operational / organizational / technology strategy formulation product development business analysis
    Excellent written & verbal communications
    Able to obtain working knowledge of key technologies deemed part of target state solutions
    Proven experience in the domain of consulting/advisory is an advantage
    Proven experience applying IE fundamentals in Financial Services is an advantage
    Experience in analysis of information and data
    Logical and systematic approach to solving unstructured problems
    Proven facilitation and meeting management skills

    Desired Skills:

    Experience with complex project/program management
    BPM automated Workflow and Content Management experience is a plus
    Experience with business or technology strategy development
    Strong experience with business and technology operational process definition and optimization
    Design Thinking and Agile methodology Lean familiarity
    Proven ability to clearly articulate complex issues and findings to key stakeholders
    Practical IE background in traditional manufacturing and financial services is desirable
