PositionSummary:

  • Performs high-quality ultrasound examsusing proper techniques equipment settings and independent judgment to captureaccuratediagnostic images

  • Ensures patient care and safety including preparation positioning communication and adherence to universal precautions

  • Supports radiologists with image-guided procedures(e.g. paracentesis thoracentesishysterosonograms)

  • Manages workflow and documentation including RIS/PACS scheduling coordination patient communication andaccuraterecordkeeping

  • Maintains quality control and compliance including equipment QA ACR standards and ongoing professional development

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association

  • Current registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position)

  • Must be registered through ARDMS with AB OB/GYN and RVT (Practice and State Specific

Final compensation is determined based on education experience certifications and geographic factors.
