Role Summary:

Assignments require evaluation selection and application of standard civil engineering techniques procedures and criteria in order to make minor adaptations and modifications to or review existing plans or specifications. Assignments have clear and specific objectives. Performance at this level requires developmental experience in professional civil engineering.

Essential Duties:

• Performs plan reviews and facilitate construction projects for Private Development projects. Reviews construction plans reports and coordinate the work of consultants and contractors. Interacts with the public consultants and contractors
• Independently performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects

Education Training and Experience Required at Entry:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.

Licensing Requirements at Entry

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification
• Valid drivers license.
