We are hiring a Principal Test Engineer to support the GWS-GSS Integrated Product Team (IPT) leading system-level integration testing test planning execution and reporting for missile defense systems. This role requires an active Secret security clearance and experience with test plans integration plans requirements-based testing C Python GUI test automation GitLab or Bitbucket and system integration testing.
This role supports test scheduling and execution while monitoring measuring controlling and reporting test progress product quality status and test results. You will adapt test plans as conditions evolve and develop testing criteria that verify system requirements are successfully satisfied.
Responsibilities:
- Support the GWS-GSS Integrated Product Team (IPT) with system-level integration testing activities.
- Schedule tests for execution and coordinate test activities based on program requirements and priorities.
- Design develop implement and execute test plans integration plans and test procedures for system-level integration testing.
- Interpret system requirements and test guidance to develop and execute effective integration tests.
- Develop testing criteria and verification methods to demonstrate successful satisfaction of requirements.
- Monitor measure control and report test progress product quality status and test results.
- Analyze evolving test conditions and adapt test plans and execution activities as needed.
- Support test development and automation using C Python and other scripting languages.
- Use Eggplant or comparable GUI-based testing tools to support software and system testing.
- Use GitLab or Bitbucket for source code and configuration management.
- Document and communicate test results status and system-level integration findings.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship Required
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university preferred.
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of related experience Masters degree with 3 years of related experience or PhD with 1 year of related experience.
- Experience designing developing implementing and executing test plans integration plans and procedures for system-level integration testing.
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.
- Experience developing testing criteria to verify and satisfy system requirements.
- Experience with C development.
- Experience using Python and other scripting languages.
- Experience using Eggplant or another GUI-based testing toolset.
- Experience with GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security certification.
- Experience supporting GMD and/or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.
- Java development experience or technical understanding.
- Experience using Cameo.
- Active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
