Job Summary

To stay ahead of the curve its critical to know where the curve is and how to anticipate the changes were facing. For the fastest-growing cybersecurity company the curve is the evolution of cyberattacks and the products and services that proactively address them. Our Product Management team helps us do just that. This team provides the behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information for our Systems Engineers staying on top of the environment we sell in and helping to implement technical solutions based on our clients feedback and needs. As threats and technology evolve we stay ahead to accomplish our mission.

The Technical Marketing Engineer is a strategic adviser to the business driving valuable insight guidance and feedback back into Palo Alto Networks. You will work across Cortex Cloud product and marketing teams to deliver holistic evangelist programs that increase perception and standing in the market. You will also Analyze market competitive analyst and customer trends and feedback to provide strategic guidance to PM & PMM.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years experience with Technical teams such as - Systems Engineers Solution Architects Development Teams or TMEs
• Familiarity with the cloud security landscape - CNAPP Supply Chain Posture Identity Runtime.
• Ability to present to CISO or higher level executives and lead thought discussions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel Requirement: 10% travel required. Some international travel required.
• Position Location: Remote within the United States
• Ability to inspire teams colleagues and executives; paired with an ability to execute.
• Experience building and delivering demos.
• Experience in working with Product Management.
• Experience managing cross functional programs in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Skilled at analysis and synthesis of research. Can break down and apply various inter-related topics and find and recommend solutions.
• Skilled at identifying and projecting areas of improvement and communicating those areas to Product Management.
• A team player that creatively and effectively solves complex issues and establishes best practices proactively.
• Understanding and affinity for technology and a motivation to master product and market details.
• Strong work ethic integrity and organizational skills.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
