What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedhatEnterpriseLinuxenvironment. This includes support for factory operations systems requiring high availability and coordination with manufacturing teams.

• Understandingand knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS DHCP AD and server replication methods.

• Working as a team member in troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).

• Experience with data RAID data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

• Role includes support for factory operations that run 24x7. This role is for weekend support and participation in an on-call rotation. Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

• Travelrequiredas businessneedsdictate to other US Domestic locations up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a bachelors degree and minimum of 5yearsof prior relevant experience or aAdvanced Degree and minimum of 3yearsof prior relevant experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Musthave Linuxand/or Windowsexperience.

• Experience in one of the following: ActiveDirectory VMware MySQL networking administration experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.

• Experience with cloning techniques.

• Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.

• Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.

• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration Group Policy).

• Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC DNS DHCP etc.).

• Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.

• Experience with an IT incident/service request system.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
