What You Will Do:

• Assist with the development of export authorization strategies for international marketing sales support offshore procurement and manufacturing of defense and dual use articles.

• Prepare and submit quality export/import license applications agreements eligible exemptions/exceptions and other requests for USG approval.

• Provide export/import authorization status updates to leadership and capture/program teams

• Participate in strategic business engagement at the program level to ensure business execution growth and compliance.

• Provide consistent interpretation of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to the Power and Controls business.

• Facilitate approvals for the physical export/import of hardware and other transactional activities involving controlled goods information and services.

• Work with peers and stakeholders to determine and certify appropriate legal authority for exports of dual-use commodities and technology defense articles; hardware technical data and defense services including determination of the appropriate export authorization exemption or exception.

• Assist in implementation of company procedures and instructions to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy.

• Participate in compliance assessments and investigations.

• Develop and deliver training for employees engaged in international business activities. Review and approve technical and non-technical information as needed prior to release to non-U.S. Persons.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

• Experience researching and/or applying ITAR and EAR regulations

• Experience applying for managing and transacting against ITAR and EAR export authorizations

• Experience with DECCS SNAP-R SAP-GT OCR EASE or similar Global Trade tools and/or systems

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
