Principal, M&A Solution Architect

McKesson is looking for aPrincipal Solution Architect to join a key technical leadership role within the EnterpriseM&AEngineering andArchitectureteam tohelp accelerate ourM&Ainitiativesacross the Enterpriseanddrive trust agility andautomationforMcKessons technologyservices.This role willserve asa critical leadership position in shaping and executingMcKessons enterprise-widetechnologystrategy and primarily focused on Merger & Acquisition (M&A) PrincipalSolutionArchitect will operate at anarchitecturelevel partnering withinternal and externalbusinessandtechnology teams to definetechnologicalintegration ofroadmaps establish architectural standards and ensure seamless alignment with enterprise platforms.

Therole requires a combination of technical expertise in solution architecture strong communicationskills collaborative mindsetand leadership skills to engage with businessunitsand technical stakeholders across the enterpriseto drive broader ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and deliveringnetworksolutions enabling business outcomes while ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements.

• Serve as the enterprisetechnologyarchitecture authority for merger acquisition and divestiture activities defining scalable integration strategies across acquired entities.

• Lead technical due diligence for M&A initiatives assessingtechnologymaturity architecture posturecloud presentsrisks and integration complexity.

• Define and execute M&Atechnologyintegration playbooks including landing zone alignment identity integration security harmonization andnetworkmodernization strategies.

• Drive consistency across multi-business-unit architectures resolving complex cross-domain design challenges and influencing enterprise-wide policy decisions.

• Provide thought leadership ontechnology M&A integration and enterprise architecture trends; represent McKesson in strategic vendor and partner engagements.

• Define and govern enterprisetechnologysolution patterns and reference architecture acrosscloudand hybrid environments ensuring consistency reusability and alignment with long-term platform and security strategy.

• Shape and evolve enterprisetechnologyarchitecture standards security guardrails and governance models; influence policy decisions and resolve complex design exceptions across business units.

• Conduct technical assessments and optimization reviews for existing and newtechnologydeployments.

• Work closely with enterprise architecture cloud platform operations and governance teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions intoeachorganizationstechnologyenvironment.

• Mentor senior architects and engineers raise the overall architecture maturity of the organization and lead enablement efforts that institutionalizetechnologybest practices.

• Degree or equivalent andtypically requires 13 yearswith 8 years of direct work-related experience. Less yearsrequired if has relevant Mastersor Doctorate qualifications

• 12 years ofSolutionArchitecture and/or relevant industry experience.

• Expertise in Azure is required; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

• Strongexpertise in Microsoft Azure (required); multi-cloud experience (AWS GCP OCI) strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge ofload balance DNS firewallnetworkingtechnologies microservices architecture and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Strongarchitecture design and implementation experience withon-premand hybrid cloud environments

• Proven experience in designing and deploying secure scalable and resilient solutions in large-scale cloud environments that are heavily regulated.

• Solid understanding of enterprise security compliance and governance frameworks.

• Experience with migration projects and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

• Cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
