Job Summary
Title : Principal Full Stack Engineer (FE Angular Java AWS)
Location : Westlake TX. Remote every other week.
Duration : 12 months
Rate : 75-80 hr on w2w
Interview Process: 2 rounds. 1st round technical. 2nd round with HM.

The manager would like to keep the Full-Stack titles here because she doesnt want pure UI devs with no middle-tier or back end knowledge/experience. This is a hands-on coding role.
The Role
Seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to help modernize and build cloud-native applications supporting insurance and guaranteed income products for millions of customers. This role is part of a smaller startup-like environment backed by strong strategic investment offering the opportunity to influence architecture engineering standards and future platform development. Candidates should have 8 years of full stack development experience including leadership experience in senior or principal-level roles along with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
The position is heavily focused on hands-on front-end development requiring strong expertise in Angular and React. While the role includes full stack responsibilities the day-to-day work will be primarily UI engineering with some back-end exposure using Java and AWS integrations. Candidates should also have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes relational databases including PostgreSQL or Oracle and microservices-based architectures. Experience with insurance systems related to policy administration underwriting or claims processing is considered a plus.
