Role Overview

We are seeking aPrincipalAI/Business IntelligenceDataAnalystto define lead and scale this transformation. This role sits at the intersection of data business processes and technology shaping the creation of trusted connected and AI-ready data foundations that support F5s future digital identity at an enterprise level.

This is not a traditional datagovernance/management role. You will directly contribute to enabling F5s long-term AI strategy through high-quality connected and insight-ready data by:

  • Translating complex business needs intoenterprise-scale data and insight solutions

  • Influencing how data flows across systems to enable advanced analytics and AI use cases

  • Driving a shift towarddata as a product where quality accessibility governance and usability are embedded into the design of systems

The ideal candidate combines deepbusiness analysisexpertise strong data intuition and technical fluency andoperateswith a mindset focused onstrategic impact scalability and cross-functional leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis and redesign of business processes and data flows to enableenterprise-wide data connectivity and insight generationleveragingmodern data quality tools frameworks and techniques

  • Identify prioritize and drive initiatives that transition manual data handling toautomated intelligence-driven and scalable solutions

  • Define and guide the development ofAI-ready data foundations ensuring data is structured governed and accessible for predictive and machine learning use cases across the enterprise

  • Translate complex ambiguous business problems intostrategic data requirements and solution frameworksthat support:

  • Reporting and dashboards

  • Predictive analytics

  • AI/ML initiatives

  • Streamlined scalable operational processes

  • Lead the design and evolution ofdata governance and metadata strategies emphasizing automation usability and long-term sustainability

  • Partner with engineering architecture and data teams toshape and influence the designof scalable data pipelines models and platform capabilities

  • Contribute to and influence the development ofenterprise data products ensuring alignment with business strategy and analytics needs

  • Guide testing validation and business adoption approaches to ensure successful delivery and measurable outcomes

  • Establish and evolvedata lifecycle management practices including creation updates and remediation across systems

  • Operate as a key connector between business context and technical execution driving alignment across senior stakeholders

  • Identifyand communicate risks dependencies and opportunities to influencedata strategy investment decisions and prioritization

  • Proactively drive improvements to data capabilities in support of AI advanced analytics and future-state business processes

  • Contribute thought leadership to evolve the organizations approach towarddata transformation insight generation and intelligent automation

  • Drive strategies to maximize the value of data assets includingdata cataloging lineage discoverability and marketplace capabilities

  • Lead root cause analysis of systemic data issues identifying patterns and implementingsustainable cross-functional solutions

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced technical analytical problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to operate withhigh autonomy and accountability driving outcomes in complex ambiguous environments

  • Strong ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders across Business Technology and Data organizations

  • Expertise in framing complex problems and drivingenterprise-scale solutions aligned to long-term strategy

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills able to translate between executive business and technical audiences

  • Deepproficiencyin SQL; experience with Python R or similar tools for advanced analytics and data manipulation (preferred)

  • Experience leading or shaping analytics predictive modeling or AI/ML initiatives

  • Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to define how data drivesinsights intelligence and business value at scale

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) preferred

  • Experience with enterprise data catalogs (e.g. Atlan Collibra Alation) preferred

  • Experience with third-party enrichment data sources (e.g. Dun & Bradstreet ZoomInfo or similar)

  • Experience with company/account hierarchy experience across multiple disconnected data sources. (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of enterprise transactional systems (e.g. Salesforce Oracle EBS PIM Marketo Gainsight)

  • Deep understanding of data modeling data transformation pipelines and system integration patterns

  • Strong knowledge of data quality governance and metadata frameworks at scale

  • Passion for data and its role in driving business and customer outcomes

Qualifications

  • 15years of experience in business analysis data analysis or related roles withdemonstratedimpact on complex enterprise initiatives

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional efforts and influencing outcomes across large matrixed organizationsideally in SaaS or technology companieswithcomplex data ecosystems

  • Experience working in Agile cross-functional delivery environments

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Data or a related field; advanced degree a plus

  • Certifications such as CBAP or Six Sigma (preferred)

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Responsibilities require the ability to use a computer communicate over the telephone and read printed materials.

The annual base pay for this position is: $156800.00 - $235200.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience geographic locations and market conditions as well as to reflect F5s differing products industries and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
