Press Assistant 1 2nd

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks glues etc.) are loaded into feeders hoppers bins etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
• Recycle old/discarded plates
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
• Assist with retrieving plates hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates

Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm to 11pm

Shift Premium: $2 per hour

Sign on Bonus: $1000

Qualifications :

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up operation and maintenance
• Able to operate hand carts pallet jacks stackers and hydraulic feed mechanisms

Additional Information :

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.56 to $23.76 hour. In addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
