You are:

Adetail-oriented Leaderwho will thrive in a fast-pacedteamcentered production environment with responsibility in all aspects of meeting the companys pre-sort mailing productivity standards in themailing industry. You are aself-motivatedandvital contributorto our companys success in daily operations while continuing to see opportunities where others see challenges.

You will:

• Monitor the quality of the mail prior to processing and before dispatching

• Ensure that the mail is reviewed for proper dates over weights correct zip codes and not stuck together

• Assistwith a variety of warehouse tasks including but not limited to presorting and machineoperatingas needed

• Coordinate drivers to ensure all deliveries are completed and on time

• Monitor drivers coming into the facility and leaving the facility for the Post Office to ensure they are meeting scheduled route times

• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customersregardingorders to be picked up

• Assistin the Metering Bulk mail or Barcode departments between deliveries

• Review pickup slips for piece counts and communicate piece counts to the Job Cost Administrator

• Promote a clean work area to preventpossible injuriesand/or tripping hazards to self and others

Your background:

As a Lead youhave:

• The ability tolift upto 50 lbs. with or without accommodations

• The ability to walk stand stoop and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation

• The ability to work overtime which may include weekends holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice

• Knowledge of the pre-sort mailing business is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Basic enough understanding of Englishto be able to understand and follow safety and other operations directions communicate in English irrespective of your native language

• 1-2 years prior Lead experience or similar
