Part-Time Preschool Teacher

DKZ Kinder Academy is looking for a caring dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our team!

This position will work with children ages 34 years old in a nurturing engaging preschool classroom. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children is dependable works well as part of a team and is committed to providing a safe and positive learning environment.

Schedule

MondayFriday 8:00 AM1:45 PM
Part-Time Mornings

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive nurturing care and supervision for children ages 34.
• Follow and implement provided daily lesson plans and curriculum.
• Create engaging age-appropriate learning experiences through play activities and hands-on learning.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized classroom environment.
• Support childrens social emotional physical and cognitive development.
• Follow all program policies and applicable Utah Child Care Licensing requirements.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with classroom team members and families.
• Assist with daily classroom routines transitions meals/snacks and other activities.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to follow and consistently implement lesson plans and classroom routines.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Must have a genuine love for working with young children.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain a positive professional attitude.
• Must meet all applicable employment and Utah Child Care Licensing requirements.
