EESP Salary Schedule Rate Range:
- $27.82 - $31.98 per hour
Assignment:
- Mon - Thurs; 6.5 hours per day
Benefits Include:

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Meets NCLB definition of highly qualified requirements:
- A two-year Associate degree
- 72-quarter or 48-semester college credits or
- A passing score of 455 on the ETS Para Pro Assessment
- WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 two-person lift/transfer
- Positive and flexible attitude with students staff parents and team members
- Must participate in the Fundamental Course Training to gain the necessary skills to perform this position
- Willingness to work toward successful demonstration of core competencies
- Demonstrated competence in basic academic/communication skills appropriate to site assignment
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
- The safety and health of students and others are essential functions of this position
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with special need students and medically fragile students
- Work as a team player
- Experience working as a CNA
- Experience working as a health assistant
Responsibilities:
- Work with medical fragile student in preschool setting.
- Monitor student while riding bus to and from school.
- Assist student with hygiene (toileting dressing) feeding and mobility
- Maintain a safe clean environment
- Work closely with the school nurse preschool team and family to ensure proper implementation of the care plan
- Adhere to HIPAA
- Observation and monitoring of the student taking and recording vitals
