DESCRIPTION:

As a Prefabrication Facility Manager at Fisk Electric you will have the responsibility for the overall supervisory and administrative management of Fisk Fabrication facility providing direct leadership to Shop Personnel.

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Fisk Fabrication facility ensuring efficient high-quality and safe production.

• Supervise and provide direction to Shop Personnel and Procurement teams.

• Develop maintain and continuously improve fabrication schedules and project slotting to meet delivery commitments.

• Monitor and manage departmental and facility budgets including P&L performance and cost control initiatives.

• Read interpret and ensure construction aligns with engineering drawings specifications and design requirements.

• Ensure full compliance with packaging standards established manufacturers.

• Ensure completion and accuracy of Inspection Reports for all fabrication projects.

• Supervise receipt and verification of materials against Purchase Orders and Bills of Materials (BOM) coordinating with Project Engineers Buyers to resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the fabrication facility and Executive Management.

• Prepare and deliver regular reports on production status key performance metrics and operational risks.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement efficiency gains and resource optimization.

• Support workforce planning staffing decisions and performance management for facility teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Highschool diploma or GED required bachelors degree in engineering business administration or a related field is preferred but not required

• 7 or more years of prefabrication experience

• 3 or more years of experience managing and leading teams in a fabrication or manufacturing environment

• Experience managing departmental or facility-level P&L including budgeting cost control and financial performance.

• Strong technical and operational understanding of Electrical equipment and fabrication processes.

• Excellent verbal written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate information clearly to management clients and cross-functional teams.
