WEI has an exciting opportunity for aSecurity Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Practice. This individuals primary responsibility is to act as subject matter expert for WEIs Cybersecurity Solutions driving overall Cybersecurity service (market leading OEMs/ISVs) & Services consulting options. Leading Cybersecurity field enablement in region by working closely with our current Cybersecurity Team & broader WEI Sales and Pre-Sales Engineering organization. This person must work well with others both in the office and outside the office in social settings/ events.
By combining advanced business and security practitioner knowledge the Security Pre-Sales Engineer works alongside Security Sales and Account Execs to help identify uncover and mature security related opportunities in wide range of cybersecurity sectors. Assisting in building scalable security programs to align with the clients security Security Pre-Sales Eng. has extensive real-world knowledge of a wide range

Travel Requirements:
25% travel (local weekly mtgs some air travel annually)

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively engage with clients as a trusted advisor to understand security challenges and requirements and identify how they can be addressed by WEI and partner solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales support in collaboration with sales teams and ensure product and service selection meets customers business and technology needs.
  • Present and articulate WEI security value proposition to clients (including C-suite with an emphasis on the CISO) on both a technical and business level.
  • Effectively communicate the capabilities of WEI security services (in meetings virtual meetings internal sales training efforts)
  • Proactively monitor and assess industry/technology advancements and alliances looking for ways to leverage existing capabilities and emerging technologies.
  • Work with Account Execs & Security Solutions Specialist to proactively establish WEI as Security presence in key client accounts and/ or net new accounts.
  • Develop security solution profiles for top accounts and identify key influencers and decision-makers.
  • Own and develop relationships with key vendor contacts to stay current on vendor updates and to facilitate account mapping deal registration discounting and escalations.
  • Conduct & Prep security trainings monthly to build sales teams security acumen
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products services and delivery schedule.
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership to attract clients and grow WEIs market reputation in security.
Required Skills and Professional Experience:
  • Professional security-related qualifications such as CISSP CISM CRISC CISA GIAC or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with: Identity IGA SIEM/SOC/MXDR/EDR GRC Data Governance and Offensive Security consulting services (e.g. penetration testing) Various types of security assessment) are highly desirable (pre-sales perspective)
  • Internal Sales Enablement Training of sales AEs on Security space
  • Field Experience in a pre-sales capacity in an information security environment is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with Security related focus areas such as Identity & Access Cloud Security SOC/SIEM/ SOAR Endpoint Security for AI & AI for Security Data Governance/Data Security SASE ZTNA
  • Broad experience and understanding of industry standards framework and best practices such as ISO27001 PCI DSS NIST Mitre Attack Chain etc.
  • Broad experience and understanding of security trends threat landscape and frameworks like the Various infosec Lifecycles AI Lifecycle Data Lifecycles cyber kill-chain.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively as a productive and focused team members with vendors prospects clients account managers and management.
Education and/or Certifications:
  • Bachelors degree or relevant work or military experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT Security and / or Managed Security Services.
  • Experience in providing guidance in strategic program and project initiatives in cyber security.
  • Bachelors degree in technology or sales related field
  • Working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as Identity Cloud Sec GRC pressures SIEM/SOC/SOAR Endpoints MDR MSSP DLP information security concepts and familiarity with modern security related technologies.
