Job Summary

Providence Staffings client is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing personal injury practice in Tampa FL. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plaintiffs personal injury attorney who is passionate about client advocacy negotiating favorable settlements and delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience with a strong background managing cases through the pre-litigation process.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement.
  • Evaluate claims and develop effective case strategies to maximize client outcomes.
  • Prepare and review settlement demands medical records damages documentation and other case materials.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and developments.
  • Provide legal advice while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze issues related to personal injury claims.
  • Collaborate with paralegals legal assistants and other attorneys to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
  • Address complex case issues and assist with transitioning appropriate matters to litigation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation using the firms case management system.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferably with significant pre-litigation experience.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Florida and be in good standing.
  • Experience handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
  • Strong negotiation case evaluation and client management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Experience with legal case management software preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to succeed in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
