Join our Marketing Team as a Practice Development Manager located in our Atlanta Houston Miami or Phoenix Office.

This role will be based in our Atlanta Houston Miami or Phoenix office and regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations as well as for team meetings training opportunities and relationship building. This role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager.
Position Summary
The Practice Development Manager will work closely with the global litigation practice marketing team and certain industry group teams contributing to a broad range of business development and marketing activities while also taking direct responsibility for managing specific litigation practice areas and working as an integral part of the global marketing and business development team.
Key Responsibilities
Works with the global litigation practice/industry groups to support attorneyrequests
Assists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm such as teleconferences webinars seminars and other events including the development and production of marketing materials and on-sitelogistics
Works with creative services team to create ads and other collateral materials for charitable events and sponsorships; submitsads to organizations uponapproval
Compiles information for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA Legal 500 Super Lawyers Best Lawyers etc.
Compiles information for proposals and requests for proposal (RFP) utilizing practice descriptions experience databases and clientlists
Assists in distributing marketing materials internal newsletters press releases seminar materials client alerts and updates and other client communications asneeded
Ensures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team including as it relates to attorney biographies practice area description updates experience tracking news and activities data press releases etc.
Inputs data into relevant databases and makes sure information is stored/savedcorrectly
Submits requests to marketing intelligence for proposals and otherprojects
Supports marketing initiatives such as shareholder practice meetings cross-marketing meetings or other officepriorities
Provides excellent client service to internal and externalclients
Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions andteams
Works on other projects asassigned
Qualifications

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelors degree isrequired; Masters or JD preferred
Minimum 10-15 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferred
Technology
High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience using firm-approved AI tools (e.g. Copilot ChatGPT or similar platforms) to support professional and managerial work applying judgment to validate outputs and maintain accountability for final deliverables.
Models and promotes responsible AI use including the adoption of emerging AI technologies emphasizing privacy confidentiality and appropriate human oversight
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk throughout the work area to work independently or with a team to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments.
This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.
Requires manual dexterity to use a phone enter data into a computer handle objects and use office equipment.
