Job Summary

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Triple PProgram Managerwill oversee the implementation andcontract executionofTriple P and supporting activities in Cherokee Graham Clay Macon Swain Jackson Haywood Transylvania Henderson Polk Rutherford Buncombe Madison Yancey Mitchel McDowellandBurke Counties.

The overall purpose of thePositive Parenting Program (Triple P)is toprovideaccess to evidence-based parenting support and resources to caregivers throughsuccessfulprogram adoptionanddeliveryof Triple Pwithinmental healthagencies non-profit family services courts systems and private and public health systems.

The Triple PProgram Managerwillwork withand buildcommunitysystemstostrengthen the Triple P initiativecoverageand support activities to servefamilies of children 0-17as well as parents of children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.The Triple PProgram Managerwillmonitorregionaloutcomes related to child maltreatment child injury and parent stress.

The TripleP Program Manager willplan andmanagethe development implementationtrainingand execution of sub-programs special projects and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission goals andobjectivesof the program.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision

  • Lead inter-professional team of 3 to continuously improve systems and quality of service in region

  • Manage schedules

  • Meet regularly with staff for supervisory coaching and check-ins

  • Provide feedback for employee improvements

  • Review employee performance

  • Develop Strategic Implementation plan for Triple P

  • Collaborate with Rural Health Initiative Team to expand rural relationships

  • Partner with localregionaland state agencies to ensure workforce development needs are met

ProgramManagement

  • Serve asday to daycontact for state and Triple P America

  • Lead the implementation of policiespracticesand procedures across agenciesinCherokee Graham Clay Macon Swain Jackson Haywood Transylvania Henderson Polk Rutherford Buncombe Madison Yancey Mitchel McDowell BurkeCounties

  • Manage program budget and expenditure processes ensuring to follow financial procedures

  • EnsureMOAsare up to date signed and followed by agencies

  • Plan and coordinatelogisticsforall trainingslocal quarterlyleadershipand coalitionmeetings

  • Planimplementandmonitorthe progress of departmental and client projects.

  • Create detailed work plans thatidentifythe sequence of activities needed to successfully complete projects

  • Develop a timelinewith agenciesfortraining andproject completion and ensure assignment of tasks and communication of deadlines

  • Ensure the development of clear projectobjectivesand measurement to guide evaluation of success and ongoing learning

  • Maintain records of the project activities and lessons learned

  • Responsible for the resolution of issues pertinent to daily Triple P activities

  • Supportcivilcommunication among team members as well as acrosscommunity collaborators and agencies

  • Establish a communication schedule andmaintainreporting tools to update key stakeholderson the progress of the project

  • Leadsinterviews and make hiring recommendations for Triple PPositions

  • Establish pertinent community partners andmaintainappropriate contactneeded for program success

  • Coordinate plan and lead Triple Pleadership/Stakeholdermeetings

  • Clarify re-brand and re-build trust around positive parenting within the community

  • Develop more concrete social networks andutilizethem to strengthen partnershipsas skill knowledge and capacity allowsandparticipatein program evaluation and publication of departmental and client projects

  • Implement the Stay Positive media-based parent campaign develop relationships with local media outlets and serve as spokesperson in close collaboration with program director

  • Participate in the North Carolina Triple P State Learning Collaborative to share best practices

  • Lead sustainability efforts including the development of a Sustainability Manual

  • Assistwith referrals by connecting caregivers to local Triple P services (including Triple P Online)

Outreach Readiness Assessment andTrainingSupport

  • Review potential practitioner applications interviewselectand train chosen practitioner for the Triple P Program

  • Responsible for oversight of on andoff siteevents and project activities

  • Leads and supports onboarding and training of newTriple P Practitioners

  • Collaborate withFrank Porter Graham Institute andTriple P America to ensure best practices of Implementation

  • Maintain communication with other state Triple P Specialists and Managers

  • Provide guidance to agencies in Triple P interventionselectionbased on best fit for your organization/department

  • Provide Triple P administration support

  • Host Triple P Trainings and support providers through the training and accreditation process

  • Help agencies and Triple P Providers to ensure proper onboarding implementation of Triple P within their agency/department

  • Maintain communication withparticipating agenciesat least monthly through telephone calls email mailings and site visitsregardingTriple P activities and positive parenting-related opportunities available to your agency and other organizations

  • Collaborate with Project Managersto ensure coaching and peer support within the agency for Triple P Providers after training

  • Use feedback data from Triple P Trainers to hone new trainees Triple P skills

  • Coordinate access to provider website and on-line access to tools and evaluation reporting system

  • Provide support to Agencies and Providers to turn in quarterly data

Resource Development

  • Plan develop and implement strategies foridentifyingand generating funding and/or resource opportunities for program activities to include development of grant and other fundraising proposals

  • Forecastprogram needsrelated to resource developmentbudget projection andteam development.

  • Work with state stake holders to ensure ongoing funding of project

DataSupport

  • Works with NC Department of Public Health and MAHECProject and Data Managerto collect analyze anddisseminateprogram activity data

  • Interacts withdataevaluation and quality improvement team to support data collection and disseminationto grow awareness of outcomes within agencies and our communities

  • Use data to inform ongoing work of Triple P inCherokee Graham Clay Macon Swain Jackson Haywood Transylvania Henderson Polk Rutherford Buncombe Madison Yancey Mitchel McDowell BurkeCounties.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises team per state contract

Providesdaily guidancesupervisionand direction on tasks within agencies with Triple P Trained practitioners

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications.

  • Masters degree and at least one year experience in project management or aBachelorsdegree with three years of project management experience and the capacity todemonstrateworking knowledge of public health behavioral healthhealthcareand workforce development programs.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft applications and database applications.
  • Ability to learn new software applications.
  • Experience with audiovisual (A/V) equipment; experience with educational technology preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with individuals and groups
  • Ability to lead and work as an effective team member

    SCHEDULE:

    • Typical business hours are Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or flexed to best meet the needs of the clients and/or the Division);40 hoursper workweek; weekend holiday or evening coverage is occasionally. Work hours will need to be flexiblein order torespond to special work assignments or evening activities as requested by the team leader.

    COMPENSATION:

    • $70000 annually (exempt) MAHEC Full-Time Total Rewards Package
