Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks qualified pipe fitters for a project in Knoxville TN.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Exp w/layout fabrication installation maintenance & repair of piping systems structural steel vessels pumps & industry environment.

Layout fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes indentations or seams of fabricated metal products.
Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools.

Qualifications

At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting
Committed to safety at all times
Excellent attendance

Physical Demands

Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
