| Job Description: | The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate in the laboratory of Maurice Swanson Ph.D. with an interest in the investigating the molecular basis of neurological and/or neuromuscular disease. Perform postdoctoral research with a focus on pathomechanisms underlying neurological and neuromuscular diseases and the development of potential disease therapies. Preferred candidates should have experience using human cell and/or mouse disease models and a training record that includes one of the following: neuroscience RNA biochemistry genomics proteomics transcriptomics. |
| Expected Salary: | $58656 - $66948 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
| Required Qualifications: | Ph.D. |
| Preferred: | PhD in either neuroscience genetics or molecular and cell biology with research experience in cell and/or mouse models for neurological disease. |
