Job Summary
The Raffield Lab would like to host a postdoctoral research scholar to investigate the health consequences of common hematological related variants such as sickle cell trait using genomic multi-omic and epidemiological analysis methods. Such variants may have important implications for cardiometabolic health across the life course but further study is needed. The scholar will utilize large scale genomic datasets in heterogeneous cohorts and biobanks as well as detailed molecular phenotyping data from single cell RNA -sequencing proteomics and other data sources. This position will provide training opportunities in genetic epidemiology and prepare the recruited scholar for the next stage in their academic career.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
The position requires skills in genetic epidemiology presentation and publication preparation and effective data analysis and management.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Preferred experience with hematological trait genetics and epidemiology.
