Job Summary
The Division of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics ( DPMP ) is engaged in research and education in drug delivery options to optimize the therapeutic efficacy of pharmacologically and immunologically active agents. It is a multidisciplinary endeavor requiring knowledge in pharmaceutics chemistry engineering biochemistry biologics pharmacokinetics drug metabolism and biology. This is a post doc position in the Bachelder lab which is in the field of immunoengineering. The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate with a team on developing treatments for autoimmune diseases. Specifically would be working with animal models of multiple sclerosis ( EAE ). Additionally will mentor and oversee graduate students involved in the work and actively contribute to collaborative efforts across the lab.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Previous work with cells and/or animal models of immune responses.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience in fllow cytometry primary mammalian cell culture ELISAs (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) isolation of murine BMDCs (bone marrow-derived dendritic cells) and autoimmune animal models.
