Compensation: $90/hour
Contract Duration: 07/01/2026 - 08/31/2026
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST - Excluding State Holidays
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior-level Technical Project Manager / Project Lead III to support a large-scale data engineering initiative and AI adoption program within a complex enterprise environment. This role will partner closely with technical leadership engineering teams business stakeholders and AI-focused initiatives to ensure successful coordination execution and delivery of strategic technology programs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a highly experienced project management professional with deep expertise leading enterprise data analytics cloud and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills technical acumen healthcare industry exposure and the ability to navigate fast-moving cross-functional environments.
PMP certification is required and must be clearly listed on the resume.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning coordination and execution of complex technical projects and initiatives
- Support enterprise data engineering and AI adoption programs
- Manage project scope timelines milestones deliverables and success metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between business engineering analytics AI and stakeholder teams
- Facilitate requirements gathering business analysis project planning and implementation activities
- Track deliverables risks dependencies and project status reporting
- Support cloud platform data pipeline and enterprise analytics initiatives
- Partner with technical teams to resolve project issues and remove blockers
- Maintain project documentation including project plans schedules charters and lessons learned
- Assist with budgeting forecasting resource planning and financial reporting
- Ensure alignment between technical and business objectives
- Support Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC processes
- Communicate project updates effectively to executive leadership and technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience leading technical projects or enterprise programs within data analytics or cloud environments
- 10 years of experience leading data architecture data modeling and data warehousing initiatives
- Proven experience managing enterprise business intelligence big data and analytics programs
- Experience supporting healthcare data initiatives
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as:
- FHIR
- CCDA
- HL7
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams vendors and enterprise timelines
- Experience defining project scope milestones objectives and success metrics
- Experience with budgeting forecasting and resource management
- Proficiency with project management tools including:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- MS Project
- Smartsheet
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and enterprise applications
- Self-directed leadership style with strong organizational skills
- PMP certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of compliance security and data governance concepts
- Additional certifications such as:
- PgMP
- PMI-ACP
- SAFe
- TOGAF
- Azure/AWS/GCP certifications
- Experience supporting AI advanced analytics or digital transformation initiatives
- Understanding of SDLC enterprise architecture and IT governance
- Strong consulting and facilitation skills
- Experience working directly with data engineers developers analysts and executive stakeholders
