This recruitment will be used to fill three (3) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Printing and Mailing Services Student Production Staff for the Printing & Mailing Services Department at Oregon State University (OSU).
This position supports the daily operations of Oregon State Universitys Printing and Mailing Services. Student employees will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment contributing to the preparation packaging and distribution of printed and mailed materials. This role offers opportunities to develop professional competencies and transferable skills applicable across industries.
Position Duties:
Production Operations
Operate mailing bindery and dye sublimation equipment
Assemble and package printed materials
Perform hand-finishing tasks such as envelope stuffing and labeling
Facility and Inventory Support
Restock paper and supplies
Assist with inventory tracking
Maintain cleanliness of production floor (e.g. sweeping trash removal cardboard breakdown)
Other Duties as Assigned
Support special projects and cross-functional tasks as needed

Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered full-time by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by theOffice of International Services(OIS) and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to travel to off campus production facility on Research Way
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in printing mailing or general production environments
Familiarity with warehouse or inventory systems
