Position Purpose

Responsible for ensuring service project opportunities are designed estimated sold and managed efficiently from initial lead through project completion while meeting or exceeding planned cost objectives. Develop and cultivate new customer relationships on an ongoing basis to support continued business growth.

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan and efficiently schedule appointments while effectively managing time to maximize productivity. Continuously utilize and maintain CRM tools and customer data.
  • Promptly follow up on leads and referrals establish customer rapport and identify customer needs. Maintain an active backlog of quotes to ensure booking goals are consistently achieved.
  • Conduct surveys of plumbing and mechanical systems to understand customer needs and challenges. Determine repair modification and replacement requirements and develop solutions that address customer objectives. Interpret drawings equipment specifications and jobsite conditions.
  • Qualify prospects identify project solutions estimate costs deliver effective sales presentations and professionally address questions and objections. Proactively manage quotes and pursue opportunities to close sales.
  • Provide added value to customers by proactively identifying energy-saving opportunities and anticipating future equipment replacement needs.
  • Manage and support assigned key customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication networking and customer engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with all divisions to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to obtain pricing delivery information and technical support as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of mechanical systems applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Establish maintain and actively pursue personal and professional development goals.
  • Support and maintain a safe and Lean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned/needed.

Summary of Skills Knowledge and Abilities

  • Associate degree in a related technical field or completion of a recognized Plumbing Apprenticeship program.
  • Minimum of five years of experience within the plumbing and mechanical industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read interpret and apply information from blueprints drawings and specifications.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technical sales and business development.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Physical capability to safely access and navigate job sites including climbing and other field activities as required.
