About the PositionWe are searching for a Plumbing Designer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in Peachtree Corners GA. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in MEP Plumbing Engineering and is eager to grow collaborate and this position you will contribute to the success of multidisciplinary teams working across a wide range of projects including federal municipal commercial and industrial sectors. Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies offering the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and enhance your skills in plumbing and MEP systems design. We are seeking an independent self-starter who can move efficiently through various design stages from concept plans to construction documentation. This role offers a great opportunity to further your career while contributing to diverse challenging and Qualifications8 years of plumbing experience in a MEP environmentProficiency in Revit/BIMEIT or PE certification is a plusManagerial experience and the ability to mentor junior team members is a plusFamiliarity with Unified Facility Criteria and its implementation in federal and DoD/state projects is a plusExperience developing detailed specifications using CSI or SpecsIntact software is a plusKnowledge of domestic water storm sanitary and venting system design is a plusExperience in construction cost estimating and life cycle cost analysis is a plusAbility to work well within a team environment demonstrate a positive attitude and multi-task effectivelySelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
