Plumber (Licensed)

We offer single-source facilities services solutions including engineering design installation repair maintenance and operations for commercial real estate financial healthcare technology educational and industrial facilities.

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2) with 2-5 years of experience for our Trumbull CT Mechanical Group. This opportunity requires a self-motivated individual with commercial plumbing heating and gas piping experience.

Individuals with HVAC piping background are encouraged to apply. An additional pressure boiler pipefitting license is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication and written skills preferred.

Some overtime is required.

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies procedures and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Other duties may be assigned.

Must hold a current CT P-2 license.

Must have a clean driving record.

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk hear smell and lift set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.

Compensation range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
