Job Summary
Classic Club located in Palm Desert CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Players Assistant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Maintains a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
- Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
- Communicates with the Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
- Monitors course cleanliness.
- Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
- Advises guests of course conditions expected pace of play local rules and other golf-related issues.
- Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
- Must have a strong customer and guest orientation.
- Must be dependable.
- Knowledge of the game of golf highly preferred.
- Valid drivers license required.
