Your Role

Lead all plant operations to achieve safety quality production and financialobjectives.
Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership and accountability.
Improve reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance planning scheduling and root cause analysis.
Optimizepaper machine performance equipment uptime productivity and product quality.
Manage plant financial performance including labor maintenance fiber chemical and energy costs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven problem-solving methods.
Develop leadership technical and hourly teams.
Build and execute recovery plans for underperforming operations with measurable business impact.
What you bring
Yourea natural fit for Plant Manager if you have:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Manufacturing or a related field preferred.
15 years of manufacturing leadership experience in tissue paper pulp or related process industries.
Experience leading paper machine operations and delivering performance improvements.
Success managing operational turnarounds and improving underperforming facilities.
Strong knowledge of papermaking processes maintenance and reliability systems continuous improvement and plantfinancial management.
Ability to lead large teams develop talent and drive organizational change.
Tissue manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Progressive leadership experience from Operations or Production Management into Plant or Mill Leadership.

Accountable
Ensure the safety of its employees and a safe environment free of all risks.
Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety production capacity standardization of operating costs and quality
Ensure compliance with Cascades business processes in the plant in accordance with established business rules and best practices
Prepare and execute investment and asset maintenance plans and meet return on investment targets
Engage and develop all your employees
Ensure the execution of the Collective Bargaining Agreement/Employee Handbook and highlight areas for improvement with the union/committee
Responsible
Establish performance standards (availability efficiency OEE) in collaboration with the General Manager
Lead weekly meetings with your team and SUs to analyze KPIs and discuss and launch required action plans
Collaborate in the implementation of optimization projects specific to your unit
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the sustainability of Lean Manufacturing best practices
Extensive experience in management and in the manufacturing sector
Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence
Ability to understand customer needs issues and interests in order to develop solutions that support their experience
Ability to guide and coach team members
Sound judgment to ensure follow-up and effective implementation of solutions in accordance with company priorities and to make appropriate decisions
Ability to position oneself with conviction in an unpopular context and generate maximum support.
Strong persuasiveness to foster maximum buy-in in a difficult context
The knowledge and experience to anticipate the impact of a decision on your unit and employees
