We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform highly diversified duties related to the installation troubleshooting repair and maintenance of production and facility equipment. This role supports our sites safety productivity and business objectives through effective preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Respond to equipment failures and complete required repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret equipment manuals diagrams and work orders
- Perform plumbing carpentry and basic machinist duties
- Identify faulty equipment and coordinate resolution through vendor warranties or other means
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and workplace organization standards
- Communicate regularly with plant personnel regarding maintenance needs
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to support shared operational goals
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical process systems
- Familiarity with PLC programming (Allen Bradley 500 and Panel Views)
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency with preventative maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of water treatment and environmental control systems
- Strong project management organizational and time management skills
- Sound judgment and independent problem-solving ability
- Professional communication skills with internal and external partners
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; college experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical plumbing or manufacturing work within an industrial environment
- Regeneration plant experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Certificates Licenses and Registrations
- Valid State Drivers License and proof of liability insurance required
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus
