About the Opportunity

Claires is looking for an analytical and curious student to join our Planning team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how data inventory sales trends and customer demand come together to support business decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Planning Intern youll gain exposure to the tools and processes our teams use to help ensure we have the right product in the right place at the right time.

What Youll Get to Experience

Depending on business priorities and team assignments you may have the opportunity to:

• Assist with sales inventory and product performance analysis.

• Support forecasting and planning activities.

• Review business trends and help identify opportunities or risks.

• Assist with reporting and analysis used to support business decisions.

• Learn how inventory and sales plans are developed and managed.

• Partner with Buying and other cross-functional teams.

• Develop proficiency with retail metrics reporting and analytical tools.

• Support special projects and evolving business priorities.

What Were Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics Supply Chain Analytics Merchandising or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Interest in retail planning inventory and business performance.

• Comfortable working with numbers and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.

• Curious adaptable and eager to learn.

• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.
