Piping QA Inspector Power Generation - Texas

Verto People is recruiting a Piping QA Inspector to support site quality assurance on a power generation project.

Representing the owner youll oversee piping inspection and testing verify welding compliance and work with construction teams to resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Verify required non-destructive examination coverage and review test results.

• Check welder qualifications and compliance with approved welding procedures.

• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests.

• Verify material traceability and positive material identification records.

• Inspect pipe supports spring hangers and cold-pull arrangements.

• Raise nonconformance reports and verify corrective actions through to closure.

Requirements

• At least seven years of piping inspection experience within power or process plants.

• Current CWI certification.

• Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 B31.3 and Section IX.

• Confidence reviewing inspection documentation and maintaining accurate quality records.

• A relevant technical qualification or equivalent field experience.

NDE Level II qualifications previous owner-side inspection experience and OSHA 30 would be advantageous alongside familiarity with digital construction documentation tools.
