EMCOR Services Combustioneer. is seeking an experienced pipefitter in Lanham MD. Exp w/layout fabrication installation maintenance & repair of piping systems structural steel vessels pumps & industry environment.
This position is covered by the CBA - Local 602.

- Layout fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms
- Assist pipe fitter with installation of the piping system to include boilers chillers air-handler units cooling towers etc.
- Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes indentations or seams of fabricated metal products.
- At least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction setting
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Must be able to utilize electronic devices for daily communication
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
