SUMMARY:
Maintains fabricates installs repairs and/or replaces cleans and tests the facility piping valves heat exchangers safety relief systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains fabricates installs repairs and/or replaces cleans and tests the facility piping valves heat exchangers safety relief systems.
- Operate high pressure waterblasting machines.
- Tests repairs and calibrates facility relief valves.
- Utilizes electric air and hydraulically driven tools and equipment.
- Utilizes cutting equipment.
- Rigs for lifting equipment.
- Cleans up work area following completion of assigned job task and properly disposes of waste materials. Returns tools and equipment to normal storage area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum four years industrial pipefitting experience for primary skill and attainment of qualifying skills in two additional maintenance crafts sufficient to assist other craftsmen in performance of their duties.
