Pipe Layer

Sea Island Land Development is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our growing team. As a Pipe Layer with Sea Island youll play an important role in the successful completion of our sitework and utility projects by installing underground pipe with a focus on quality safety and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities:

• Install storm drainage sewer water and other underground utility pipes.
• Read and interpret utility plans site plans and grade stakes.
• Use pipe lasers and other tools to maintain proper grade alignment.
• Properly prepare bedding and ensure pipe-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with foreman equipment operators and other crew members.

Qualifications:

• Previous pipe laying or underground utility experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipe installation grading and utility construction.
• Ability to read plans and follow grade stakes
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
