High level requirements of the position
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with CIAM/IAM platforms with strong preference for Ping Identity (PingAM PingIDM PingFederate). Familiarity with Azure Entra ID is a plus.
- Proven experience supporting and operating Ping Identity platforms including day-to-day administration configuration changes monitoring and incident management in production environments.
- Hands-on experience installing configuring upgrading and patching IAM/CIAM products across development test and production environments.
- Experience configuring PingAM and PingIDM components such as authentication trees access policies identity mappings session handling and integrations with external data sources.
- Working knowledge of authentication and federation standards including SAML OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) with a focus on configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for internal and third-party web and mobile applications including application onboarding and issue resolution.
- Strong working knowledge of LDAP and directory services including user lifecycle operations and identity data troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems application servers and basic network concepts relevant to IAM platforms.
- Experience supporting containerized deployments using Docker and basic operational knowledge of Kubernetes (monitoring restarts scaling deployments).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation from an operational support perspective; scripting exposure (Python or shell) is a plus.
- Exposure to DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins Ansible or similar platforms.
- Ability to monitor IAM platforms analyze logs perform root-cause analysis and collaborate effectively with development infrastructure and security teams.
- Willingness to participate in a rotating 24x7x365 on-call support model.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery environments collaborating closely with product project management and engineering teams.
