Physician Workers' Compensation

Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualifiedOrthopedic Musculoskeletal Physicianto join our practice with asole focus on Florida WorkersCompensation patients.The ideal candidate may be aboard-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon though non-surgical orthopedic musculoskeletal physicians with Workers Compensation experience are also encouraged to apply.

This position offers a consistent Workers Compensation patient base strong administrative support and an opportunity to focus on high-quality patient care without the complexity of mixed payer models.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate diagnose and treat orthopedic injuries related to workplace accidents
• Provide medical opinions consistent with Florida Workers Compensation statutes
• Perform orthopedic surgeries as indicated (if applicable)
• Determine Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) and assign impairment ratings when appropriate
• Develop and manage treatment plans including referrals for diagnostic testing or intreqeutic treatment
• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation and reports
• Collaborate with case managers employers and legal representatives as required

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited orthopedic residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred)
• Active or eligible for Florida medical license
• Knowledge of impairment ratings and Workers Comp documentation standards
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
