POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Coordinate physician workflow for Jefferson outpatient sites andperformsvarious administrative tasks relating to the efficiency of image reading

  • Organizes workflows to maximize Radiologist productivity and efficiency

  • Monitors work lists for exams performed. Assign STAT and subspeciality exams toappropriate Radiologistsfortimelyreading. Monitors examstoassign coverage during lunch breaks for the Radiologists

  • Coordinates and works with all otherPSAsto assign subspecialty reads

  • Review Radiologists daily work schedule; communicate and coordinate exams procedures STATs and any meeting and conference calls so that it does not interfere with or disrupt the day

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 1 years of medical office experience preferably in radiology

  • Previousexperience working directly with physician schedules orfacilitatingphysician flow preferred.

  • Mustdemonstrateknowledge of medical terminology and radiology specialties.

  • Mustdemonstratea strong customer service orientation anda pleasant professional manner.

  • Mustdemonstrateexcellentorganizationskills and attention to detail as well as strong computer skills including Excel.

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS

The hourly range for this position is$18.00-$23.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience certificationsgeographic locationetc. Final compensation isdeterminedbased on education experience certifications and geographic factors.
