Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our OB/GYN Physician you will join CHI Health Clinics established womens health practice serving Council Bluffs Iowa and Omaha Nebraska with clinic responsibilities based at Valley View Clinic and deliveries at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital. Youll become part of a growing team of 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This is an outstanding opportunity for physicians seeking a busy practice with an established patient panel academic involvement and the ability to make a meaningful impact on womens health throughout the region. Through our partnership with Creighton University School of Medicine youll have opportunities to participate in medical student resident and fellow education while practicing in a collaborative environment supported by the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Every day you will provide the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care for women of all ages averaging 2124 patient visits and approximately 10 deliveries per month. Youll have access to in-office ultrasound non-stress testing (NST) and colposcopy services with LEEP procedures available in the inpatient setting. Working within an integrated care model youll collaborate closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine Urogynecology primary care diabetic education behavioral health physical therapy and pharmacy teams to provide comprehensive coordinated care. The practice offers a 1:6 call schedule and opportunities to expand access to womens healthcare through outreach services in Southwest Iowa.
To be successful in this role you will be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist with the ability to obtain medical licensure in both Iowa and Nebraska.
